Hi all I’m new to Bobcad and have V26 3axis pro. I am trying to run a ballnose cutter around a filleted solid partusing Equidistant feature but get I’m getting an unusual and unusable tool path.

    can’t load a .bbcd file ????
You can always go the cnc zone if needed,,but yeah,a file would be most helpful to sort out what is going on.

    Hey Nick,

Take a look at the attached file, When you select the geometry, Select the entire part as you geometry. When you select just that fillet area, the tooling will cut into part because you aren’t telling it that it can not cut in that area. Try it out and let me know how it works for you. Make sure to set any values that I may have changed. Go through the toolpath. I don’t think I changed anything but just be sure.
