    Avast Anti-virus removed the above file. Now V25 3x pro will not start. How do I replace the file without erasing and reloading. I’m trying not to have to call to remove seat license etc. The software will not start.

    Whoa,don’t mess with your BoB.
    Does your Avast Icon have a yellow exclamation mark on it.There is a pending update that it did not automatically do.So update Avast.If you still get it it,find in the options how to turn on your Sandbox.Somehow I bet it got turned off.Ask me how I know all this ? ?
    Went thru this yesterday,wasted 40 minutes,,,,ughhhh

    Oh,and you have to go to the virus chest and enable that file.It is OK,,the pstilldll.dll file is not infected.

    I checked the virus chest and nothing was in there. Is there a way to extract the file from the installation discs? What does the file do? Worst case I’ll de-license and uninstall.

    Yeah,I don’t know.If you did everything I suggested,,,,and that does not work ????You turned on your Sandbox??I just went to Virus Chest,R click on file,enable.But I had to do the update before Avast would let it thru and turn on the sandbox.
    That was the same exact file that Avast was screwing with me over,so I have to believe Avast is the culprit??????
    If BoB is reading this,I would think they should be able to give you that file,,but I would still have a concern of what happened in your case.
    If you still had support,that’s where I would go next.Otherwise what you mentioned,ughhhhhhhhhhhh

    I went back and check Avast to see if it needed updating and it did. After I updated Avast three Bobcad files were there so I restored them and V25 works. Thanks for the help, I should have checked for the program update after you told me to check it. I’m just finding time to use this version I’ve been using V24.
    Again thank you for the help.

    I never have had problems with Avast like this in the 4 years I have used it.But,I have to say,,Avast has done a wonderful job at keeping my computer safe,,,especially since I am using the free version.

    There is currently a known issue with Avast. We have submitted a bug report with them in regards to them blacklisting the pstill file.
