I’m very new to bobcad. I brought in a component from solidworks and I’m trying to rotate the part to get it on the correct axis so I can start the tooling. It seems simple enough and I actually got it to work but I accidently had ‘copy’ check. When I undid that and tried it again, it didn’t rotate this time.

    Thank, Karen

    Karen,

When you use the rotate command with copy, the entity that was the copy becomes the active entity in rotate. You will have to exit out of the rotate function and then restart the rotate function. This will allow you to change which geometry is selected.
