i have tried this with my friends too, some fun project we had during the summer of last year and we really tried working around the program and all as it was our first time to use the program but it was not so hard because we were familiar with the other functionality.

Burr have you tried running this model thru 25 to see if there is any noticable difference in time for calculating?

    Hi jrmach…..
I dont have V25 yet… But, I KNOW it will do these things better.. One of the issues with this work I was doing here is the size of the stls generated from the digital elevation data.. So, doing the entire island at 1.5 arc second resolution data would generate an stl at about 9 gig’s.. No way the 32 bit app would deal with that.. Surely though, if I get it loaded, I could push it’s limits and tell you how it went! :o

I will also be very interested in looking closer at the ModuleWorks 3d toolpaths compared to the older Interfacial ones…. Even if it’s only a 32/64 bit difference, that alone will be cool.
