Bought this software after talking with a salesmen and he guaranteed that BOBCAM would provide assistance to get the proper post file for our machines. It’s been well over a month, they sent us one faulty post file that our machine can’t interpret, the proper code to generate curves or arc’s was not functioning. Since we have heard less and less from BoBCAM to the point where they refuse to answer our emails. At this point we just need a refund to get some software that will run our machines. Having machines sit for over a month because the software we purchased isn’t functioning is unacceptable.

Anyone have any better customer service?

There are plenty of very knowledgable people on this Forum and the CNC Zone who will be more than happy to help you, but in order to help they will need some more info ? ?

Machine make, model and control for starters and if possible a sample of code from the machines own manual ? ?

    Regards
    Rob

    Dan,

I agree if you provide more information we call can help you. Is this some strange machine from mars? BobCAD CAM posts standard fanuc style code which works for 99% of all machine controllers.

    Arc movements for
    X Y R
    IJ
    INC and ABS

These are the most common arc formats. And are easily adjusted in Block 222 of your post file.

Have you ever run on program on your machine before, do you have a sample for us to look at. IE, what BobCAD produces and what is know to run on your control?

    Al
