CAD-CAM software developer, BobCAD-CAM, Inc., is scheduled to host a new CAD-CAM training event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event will bring together manufacturing professionals, including CNC programmers and CAD designers, for a 3-day CAD-CAM training seminar to be held November 18-20, 2015.
The BobCAD-CAM seminar series provides a unique opportunity for CAD designers and CAM programmers in the Tulsa area to learn from an instructor with over 40-years of real-world CNC machine programming experience. Trainer, Sorin Nenu, has unparalleled software knowledge. Having used BobCAD-CAM software since Version 1, Sorin offers in-depth CAD-CAM software knowledge for both new and previous versions of the software.
CAD-CAM Training – What To Expect
Attendees can expect to learn about features and tools they can use to increase productivity and efficiency in their CNC machining operations. The instructor will provide detailed feature walkthroughs, examples, and daily Q&A sessions.
The seminar is scheduled to provide a complete software overview of the BobCAD-CAM Mill and CAD modules. Students will cover software shortcuts, CAD 2D & 3D drawing, file imports, a CAM tree overview, and information on 2-5 axis toolpaths, simulations, generating g code, and more. For two of the three days, optional evening courses will be offered to provide training on the BobART and Lathe CAD-CAM software modules. The BobART class will cover a wide variety of artistic CAD functionality, including raster to vector conversions, scaling, embossing, and more. The Lathe class will teach attendees how to draw a lathe part, setting up roughing and finishing cycles, canned cycles, drilling operations, lathe post processors, and much more.
