Tech Tuesday is a weekly blog that addresses some of the most common questions and concerns that I hear throughout the previous week from users of BobCAD-CAM software. Both customers and future customers are more than welcome to leave a comment on what they would like to see covered for the following Tech Tuesday. Enjoy!

With BobCAD, take advantage of some amazing new things in our latest software like the Toolpath Editor, which allows you to edit single entities without affecting your other geometry. Want more control over your tool’s entry position? Utilize the new Arc Leads option in BobCAD. Plus, a ton of other features you have got to try! The demo version is a great way to get familiar with the software, allowing you to see how it will affect your workflow and productivity first-hand. Before you get your trial version of the software at the bottom of the article, let’s answer the 3 most common questions people have about the demo license:

Q- Can I try the BobCAD-CAM V30 demo if I have an older version of BobCAD?

A- Yes, BobCAD V30 will install a new program and doesn’t overwrite or update any of the current version(s) of BobCAD software you may currently have.

Q- After I’ve tried the demo, if I decide to purchase a copy, do I uninstall the demo version?

A- No, the demo is the full version of software with restrictions. If you decide to make a purchase of V30, we’ll send you license codes to unlock the full features.

Q- Do I have to be on the internet to demo the software?

A- Yes, an active internet connection is required on the computer that is registering the demo license.

Now, let’s look at how we properly install our demo mode of BobCAD-CAM.
