Probing
BobCAM for SolidWorks now offers probing cycles with the new Probing module! Everything in the machine shop is about precision, and because of this probing is becoming an indispensable part of machine shop.
General
BobCAM for SolidWorks V9 is the first BobCAM release ever to offer a way to bring MachiningCloud tool assembly exports directly into your BobCAM Tool Crib, or Tool Library.
Mill
BobCAM for SolidWorks V9 offer upgrades and new feature enhancements across the Milling product family. The new Deburring operation allows you to automatically create toolpath to trim complex edges or apply chamfers/fillets to the edges of your parts.
Temporary Relative Jog Values
A new check-box has been added in the Set Axis Values window of the Axis Control docking pane in the Machine Simulator.
Smooth Cutting Quality for Cuts Along the X or Y Axis
In this release the simulation has been optimized to improve the look of the cuts along the X,Y Plane when using bullnose mill tools.
Search from the Posting Manager
In the new BobCAM for SolidWorks V9, searching your posted code can be done directly in the Posting Manager without the need to launch in an editor! In the past the Posting Manager only allowed you to view the code.
