Turning Mode

Introduction

The Turning Mode function changes the standard drawing mode to accommodate the drawing of lathe parts. The coordinate system indicator, shown in the bottom-left corner of the screen, changes the X-axis direction to the lathe Z-axis direction, (and the Y-axis direction becomes the lathe X-axis direction). This change is made in order to reflect the change that is made to the parameters of the CAD functions in the Data Entry tab. If the function normally lists an X, Y, and Z value from the top down, after you enable Turning Mode, the same function lists the values from the top down as Z, X, and Y.
