Arc Snap

Introduction

The Snap function creates arcs using the snap point of another entity to define the origin of the arc. To perform the function, you define the arc parameters in the Data Entry tab, and then select a snap point in the graphics area.

Navigation

To open Arc Snap, do one of the following:

• In the Arcs menu, click Snap.

• On the CAD toolbar, click the down arrow and click the  icon.

• Right-click anywhere in the Workspace, point to CAD, Arcs, and click Snap.

The parameters display in the Data Entry tab of the Data-CAM Tree Manager.

The Data Entry Parameters

• Radius - sets the distance from the center of the arc to the circumference.
• Start Angle - sets the angle, from the positive X-axis, at which the arc begins.
• End Angle - sets the angle, from the positive X-axis, at which the arc stops.

• Cancel - closes the function.
