The Fit Arcs function converts a selected geometry curve into arc segments using a defined tolerance value. To perform the function, you set the tolerance, and then select the geometry in the Workspace.
To open Fit Arcs, do one of the following:
In the Arcs menu, click Fit Arcs.
On the CAD toolbar, click the down arrow and click the icon.
Right-click anywhere in the Workspace, point to CAD, Arcs, and click Fit Arcs.
The parameters display in the Data Entry tab
of the Data-CAM Tree Manager.
1 Open
the function.
2 Set
the Tolerance to use when creating arcs.
3 In
the graphics area, select the entities to use the Fit Arcs on.
4 With
the entities selected, right-click and select OK to confirm the selection.
the Results dialog launches to show how many arcs were created.
5 Click Cancel to close the function.
