Lathe Chamfer Parameters

Introduction

The Parameters page of the Lathe Chamfer operation contains the variables needed for the feature.

Operation Parameters

• Use Cutting Conditions

Select the check box to use the values that are automatically calculated using the Cutting Conditions and selected feature parameters. For example, this calculates the Overall Depth and Effective Depth for this operation.

Clear the check box to manually change the values that were automatically calculated.

• Effective Depth - the depth from the Top of Feature (face of the feature), excluding the tool tip.

• Overall Depth - total depth from the Top of Part (face of the feature), including the tool tip. This value is output in the posted NC program.
