The Edit menu contains the following items. These commands are also found on the File toolbar and the Selection toolbar.
The Undo command is used to remove (undo) the previously performed action. You are not limited to one level of undo. You can undo as many actions that are available from the Edit menu (or File toolbar) Undo command. The software saves all actions that can be undone for the current part or file, but only while the file is open.
The Redo command is used to redo, or revert to the previous condition of the file, an action that was removed using Undo.
The Cut command is used to remove selected geometry from the Workspace and add it to the clipboard (it can then be pasted). You must first enable selection mode.
The Copy command adds any selected geometry to the clipboard, which can then be pasted. You must first enable selection mode.
The Paste command is used to place (paste) geometry from the clipboard into the active Workspace. This only works if you have Cut or Copied geometry into the clipboard first. The geometry is placed in the same location and position from which it was Cut or Copied, but it is placed on the currently Active CAD layer. You must first enable selection mode.
The Delete command is used to eliminate or remove currently selected geometry from the Workspace. You must first enable selection mode.
The Select Mode command enables the ability to select geometry in the Workspace when you need to modify, copy, cut, or delete geometry.
After enabling selection mode, the Select Entities menu item provides further Selection Filters.
The Select All command selects all geometry that is currently visible in the graphics area.
This command clears all current geometry selections.
