1 Open a new Workspace by selecting the New function from the File menu, or by clicking on the New icon on the File toolbar.
2 Click on the Line Coordinates icon on the CAD toolbar or choose the Coordinates function from the Lines menu.
3 In the Data-CAM Tree Manager, input 0.0 for Start X, 1.0 for Start Y, 0.0 for Start Z, 1.0 for End X, 1.0 for End Y, 0.0 for End Z and click OK.
4 A line is created.
5 Input 1.0 for Start X, 1.0 for Start Y, 0.0 for Start Z, 2.0 for End X, 1.0 for End Y, 0.0 for End Z, and click OK.
6 A second line is created.
7 Right click anywhere in the Workspace and then click on the Entity Summary function in the pop-up menu. Note that the Quantity of Entities is 2.
8 Click OK to close the Entity Summary dialog.
9 Click on the Cleanup / Optimize function in the Reorganize submenu under Utilities.
10 The Data-CAM Tree Manager will be populated with a Cancel button.
11 While holding the left mouse button down, drag a box around the two lines created previously.
12 To confirm the selection, right-click anywhere
in the Workspace and click OK.
The Results dialog launches, showing:
