Erase Double Entities

Example

1      Open a new Workspace by selecting the New function from the File menu, or by clicking on the New icon on the File toolbar.

2      Click on the Rectangle icon on the Other toolbar or select the function from Other menu.

The function launches and a preview showing the default settings appears in the graphics area.

3      In the Data-CAM Tree Manager, click OK to create the default rectangle.

4      Click OK again to create another rectangle, doubling the entities.

5      Right click anywhere in the Workspace and click Entity Summary. Note that the Quantity of Entities is 8.

6      Click on OK to close the Entity Summary dialog box.

7      Click the Erase Doubles function in the Reorganize submenu under Utilities.

8      The Data-CAM Tree Manager will be populated with only a Cancel button.

9      While holding the left mouse button down, drag a box around the rectangle to select it.

10  Right click anywhere in the Workspace and choose OK from the menu that appears.

The Results dialog box appears showing:

11  To end this function, click Cancel in the Data-CAM Tree Manager, or right click anywhere in the Workspace and choose Cancel in the pop-up menu.
