Quick Trim

Example

The Quick Trim function is used to delete or trim wireframe entities in the graphics area. If an entity does not intersect another entity, Quick Trim deletes the entire entity. If an entity intersects other entities, Quick Trim deletes the selected portion up to the intersections. You click the entity (or portion of an entity) that you want to trim.

  1. In the File menu, click New.
  2. In the Other menu, click Rectangle. The Rectangle parameters display in the Data Entry tab of the Data-CAM Tree Manager.
  3. In the Data Entry tab, click Sketch.
  4. Sketch a few rectangles anywhere in the graphics area so that they overlap (intersect) each other. (For help with sketching rectangles, view Create a Rectangle.)
