Align Horizontal Dimension

The Align Horizontal Dimension Function
The Align Horizontal Dimension function is used to adjust the vertical position of existing dimensions in order to align their values horizontally with another dimension.

To open Align Horizontal Dimension:

In the Modify Dimension group, of the Evaluate ribbon, click
Align Horizontal.
The parameters display in the Data Entry Manager.

| This list box will show the entity currently selected for the function. | |
(Delete) - removes
the highlighted item from the list.
(Reverse) - Changes the direction of the selected chain.Dimension to Point

- OK - finalizes the function.
- Cancel - exits the function.
Quick Steps - Align Horizontal Dimension
- Open the function.
The Reference Dimension list automatically has focus. - Select the dimension that is to be the start of the Align Horizontal.
The dimension is added to the Selected Geometry list.
The focus shifts to the Dimension to Point list. - Hover over the entity to create a dimension from.
The preview appears.
Select the entity.
The item is added to the Dimension to Point list and immediately reAlign Horizontald to allow selection of the next entity.
The dimension is created. - Repeat as necessary.
- Click Cancel to exit the function.
