Align Vertical Dimension

The Align Vertical Dimension Function
The Align Vertical Dimension function is used to adjust the horizontal position of existing dimensions in order to align their values vertically with another dimension.

To open Align Vertical Dimension:

In the Modify Dimension group, of the Evaluate ribbon, click
Align Vertical.
The parameters display in the Data Entry Manager.

(Delete) - removes
the highlighted item from the list.
(Reverse) - Changes the direction of the selected chain.Dimension to Point

- OK - finalizes the function.
- Cancel - exits the function.
Quick Steps - Align Vertical Dimension
- Open the function.
The Reference Dimension list automatically has focus. - Select the dimension that is to be used to align the other dimensions with.
The dimension is added to the Reference Dimension list.
The focus shifts to the Dimension to Align list. - Hover over the dimension to be adjusted.
The preview appears.
Select the dimension.
The item is added to the Dimension to Point list and immediately removed to allow selection of the next entity.
The dimension is adjusted. - Repeat as necessary.
- Click Cancel to exit the function.
