Introduction
This topic describes the options found in the BobCAD-CAM Help menu.
The BobCAM Help Menu
The BobCAD-CAM Help menu contains the following items.
Support
The Support section covers launching the Help System, the Getting Started, and the Tip of the Day.

BobCAD-CAM Help - launches the help system.

Getting Started - displays the Getting Started dialog box for you to select and open a demonstration file and the Getting Started Help system. These tutorials teach you about creating parts and machining them from start to finish using BobCAD-CAM.

Tip of the Day - displays the Tip of the Day dialog box which contains software usage tips. The Tip of the Day has a list of tips, each of which will be displayed in the dialog, one at a time. You will be able to use the controls Inside the Tip of the Day dialog, to move through the list of tips, to close the Tip of the Day dialog, and to set whether or not the dialog will be presented when the software is opened each time. The controls for the Tip of the Day dialog are as follows.

OK - closes the Tip of the Day dialog.

Next Tip - shows the next tip available in the list.

Previous Tip - shows the tip in the list that occurs prior to the currently displayed tip.

Show Tips at Startup - sets the Tip of the Day dialog to be displayed when BobCAD-CAM is first launched.

- Use online help - determines whether the local, or online help system is launched when BobCAD-CAM Help is launched.

Licensing
The Licensing section will allow you to Activate and Transfer licenses.

Activate License - allows you to modify the state of the software licensing for the system. by launching a dialog box to allow you to either; Register Automatically via the Internet, or Register Manually via Email.

Transfer License - removes the license file from the computer. This is commonly used for transferring licenses from one computer to another.
Licensing Tools
The Licensing Tools section will allow you to show the status of your
license, switch between local and network licenses when both are available,
check out, and return roaming licenses when one is available, and to update
the network license connection info for a network license.

Show License Status - displays a dialog box showing the current status of active licenses.

Switch to Local license - When a network license is in use, and a local license is available, this option will allow you to switch to the local license. If this option is grayed out, a network license is in use, but no local license is available.

Switch to Network license - When a local license is in use, and a network license is available, this option will allow you to switch to the network license. If this option is grayed out, a local license is in use, but no network license is available.

Return Roaming License to Server - selecting this option will return a roaming license to the network.

Checkout Roaming License From Server - When a roaming license is available, this option will launch the Check Out Roam License dialog. This dialog allows you to enter a number of days to check out a license from the server. Once a number is entered, click OK and the roaming license will allow you to use it while disconnected from the network.

Update License Network Connection Info - launches the Network Connection Info dialog box to allow you to update the Hostname and Port Number of the network. This option is only available when a network license is in use.
About BobCAD-CAM
This section will show the version and build number of the software you are using, along with copyright information, warnings, a link to the website, the End User License Agreement, and System Info.
- End User License Agreement - launches the End User License Agreement for review.
- System Info - compiles data from the computer and launches a dialog showing:
- Computer System Info
- System CPU Info
- System Graphics
- System OS
- Drive information
- Copy to Clipboard - copies all the compiled system info to the clipboard to allow user to paste it elsewhere.
- OK - closes the dialog.
