What's New in BobCAD-CAM V37 SP2

Introduction

The second update to our BobCAD-CAM V37 includes the addition of a notification dialog, a couple corrections to the user interface, and several CAM-related corrections.

      The All tab displays all notifications, including updates, training opportunities, account alerts, and sales offers in a single view.

Corrections

User Interface

  • Corrected an issue which caused the BobCAD Live dialog to show a blank page.


  • Corrected an issue which prevented BobCAD Live from using the default browser.

CAM

General

  • Corrected an issue which caused the "Export Migration File" mode to ignore the "Settings" checkbox status, resulting in the Registry.xml file being included regardless of the selection.


Mill

  • Correct an issue which prevented all parameters from being retained when copying and pasting an operation with the Advanced UI.


Lathe

  • Corrected an issue which caused newly created turning tools to ignore user-defined parameters, resulting in incorrect tool shapes in the Tool Crib and GDI previews.


Wire

  • Corrected an issue in 2 Axis Wire EDM where toolpaths were unnecessarily segmented, causing excessive NC lines and misaligned points. Toolpaths now generate correctly with minimal segmentation when recomputed, ensuring accurate output.
