The Add/Modify Thread Dialog

The Add/Modify Thread dialog
When you click Add Thread or Modify Thread from the Thread Library dialog box, the Add/Modify Thread dialog box is displayed for you to create or modify the thread parameters. These parameters are explained next.
Navigation
To open the Add/Modify dialog box:
- In the Thread Library dialog box, click Add Thread or Modify Thread.
Parameters
Thread Type
- Tap - is the name of the tap that displays under Thread
Type. This name is shown when you select this thread type for
a tapping operation.
- Nominal Diameter - sets the nominal diameter of the thread.

Small Pitch Diameter - sets the small pitch diameter of the thread.

Pitch - sets the pitch of the thread.

Angle - sets the angle of the thread.
Hole Sizes

Cutting - is the size of the drill used for this Thread Type when you select a cutting tap tool.

Rolling - is the size of the drill used for this Thread Type when you select a rolling tap tool.
After defining all of the parameters, click OK to update the thread parameters in the Thread Library.
