Turning BobCAM On and Off

Introduction

The BobCAM system can be turned on and off while using SolidWorks. It can also be set to turn on automatically when SolidWorks is opened.

Navigation

To open the Add-Ins dialog box:

 

• In the Tools menu, click Add-Ins. BobCAM for SolidWorks is listed under Other Add-ins.

Turning BobCAM On and Off

In the Add-Ins dialog box, notice that there are two check boxes. The check box on the right is the Start Up check box. To have the BobCAM for SolidWorks Add-in turned on when you open SolidWorks, select the check box. If the check box is cleared BobCAM must be turned on after opening SolidWorks. On the left is the Active Add-Ins check box which allows you to turn BobCAM on or off for the current drawing or session. Select the check box to turn on BobCAM, or clear the check box to turn off BobCAM. Once you have made your selections click OK to perform the change.
