BobCAM Command Manager Tab

Introduction

This topic will describe the options found in the BobCAM Command Manager Tab.

The BobCAM Command Manager tab allows quick and easy access to the common functions used within BobCAM for SolidWorks.

The BobCAM Command Manager tab can be found among the other tabs, such as the Features, Sketch, Evaluate, and DimXpert tabs.

Settings - opens the Settings dialog to allow you to set the default file paths of the BobCAM system. You can also adjust the system defaults for the color of the toolpath, as well as various tolerances, and the Default Machining Order.
New CAM Job - opens the Machining Job manager for you to create a new CAM Job.
Simulation - launches simulation for you to verify and analyze all computed operations that are set to Post Yes.
Exit Simulation - closes the simulation window.
NC Editor - launches the NC Editor.
Utility - opens the Utility dialog to allow you to convert previously saved features into User Defined Templates to use in the Machining Strategy page of the wizard.
Knowledge Base - opens the Knowledge Base Manager to allow you to create, or edit Knowledge Base templates. These templates contain rules which are then used to create any and all of the four supported hole features automatically when using Hole Recognition.
