Load Image dialog

Introduction

When you load an image from the BobART Manager, the image displays in the graphics area with the reference point (origin) located at X0Y0Z0 by default. The origin for the image is the bottom-left corner of the image. If you need to relocate the image in the graphics area, you use the Load Image dialog.

Navigation

To access the Load Image dialog after an image is loaded:

  • In the   BobART Manager, under Images, right-click Image name, and click Edit.

UCS

This group allows you to select from any of the User Coordinate Systems currently used in the file.

Origin

This list box will show the entity currently selected to act as the origin.

The Origin group sets the image location using the XYZ coordinates. The origin is the bottom-left corner of the image.

    • X - determines the location along the X-axis of the WCS.

    • Y - determines the location along the Y-axis of the WCS.

    • Z - determines the location along the Z-axis of the WCS.

Orientation

This group allows you add a rotation angle to the image.

  • Rotation Angle - This value is applied with the Z axis of the Origin acting as the center of rotation. Positive values rotate the image counter-clockwise.

Size

  • Keep Aspect Ratio

Keeps the X Size and Y Size values relative to each other. When one value is adjusted, the other automatically adjusts to keep this ratio intact.

Will allow the ratio to be skewed so the X Size and Y Size values can be adjusted independently.

  • X Size - sets the length of the image along the X Axis.

  • Y Size - sets the width of the image along the Y Axis.

Transparency

This group allows you to specify the transparency of the currently edited image from 0 to 1, with 1 being completely transparent.
