Introduction
This topic explains the options found in the Links page of the Facing operation found in the Mill 2 Axis Wizard, and provides links to related topics.
The Links page
Links
- Direct
- connects each toolpath pass using a direct line.
- Arc
- connects each toolpath pass using an arc (that is defined by the
stepover).
- Max Link Gap (%
of Tool Dia)
Determines the maximum gap distance as a percentage of the tool diameter for which links are created. Any gap greater than this value does not create a link.
Clear the check box when not specifying a Max Link Gap value.
Select the check box to specify a Max Link Gap value.
