Introduction

The Progress Bar

The progress slider that displays at the bottom of the simulation window is an indicator of the position in the current operation as well as the position of all operations. It can also be used to jump to a certain position in the toolpath by dragging the slider forward or backwards, or by right-clicking and entering a block number to jump to.

Warning: When dragging the progress slider, also known as manual navigation, collision checking is not performed. This is done so that you can quickly reach an operation that you want to examine.

Note: If a bookmark has been added to the progress bar, a right-click will display two options: 

Jump to Block - launches the Change operation slider position dialog. This allows you to enter a value for Jump to Block number which will forward the simulation to that position when OK is selected. Cancel will close the dialog without forwarding the simulation.
Delete All Bookmarks - removes any bookmarks created in the Move List.

Tip: Double-clicking a row in the Move List will create a bookmark in the progress bar. Once there, simply click the bookmark to forward the simulation to that particular move/block.

Different operations are indicated in different colors and have a small black stroke in between. Right-click on the progress bar to access the Change operation slider position option. This option will allow you to jump ahead in the simulation. While in NC Mode or Length Mode, the option will be Jump to Block number. While in Time mode the option will be Jump to Second. Enter the desired block or second value and click OK to jump to that point in the simulation. Click cancel to exit the Change operation slider position option.

The three bars underneath are report indicators and graphically represent the report result according to the operations above. Note that you can also drag or click the progress slider and then use the arrow keys to step forward and backward between toolpath moves in the simulation.

The three bars under the progress slider display red marks to indicate the following.

First progress bar - displays any machine limit overruns.

Second progress bar - displays all collisions that happen during simulation or verification.

Third progress bar - displays proximity alerts (when tool is too close to the workpiece).

You can use the Report tab to view information about any detected limits or gouges.
