MachineSetup.bin file - This file contains all of the information specific to their machines.
Selection type - Allows you to specify the folder location of the MillingMachineSetup.bin file.
From registry - Uses the file path stored in the registry.
Select - This option enables the Select File button allowing you to choose the directory in which the MillingMachineSetup.bin is located.
Select file - Clicking this button allows you to choose the directory that holds the MillingMachineSetup.bin file.
Machines
Make - Allows you to select the machine make that you want to edit.
Add machine - Adds a new machine to the list, which can be edited in the Settings tab.
Remove machine - Deletes the currently selected machine
Model - Each machine make can have more than one model, the specified models for each machine are listed here.
Add model - Adds a new model to the list, which can be edited in the Settings tab
Remove model - Deletes the currently selected model
Unit Type - Allows you to specify the units required in the program for the selected machine.

Reset Defaults - Resets all information back to the BobCAM default machines
Machine
Make name - You can edit the name of the machine make
Model name - You can edit the name of the machine model
Post
Select - Allows you to select the default post processor for this machine make and model
Cutting conditions database
Cutting Cond Allowed - Allows the automatic calculations of speeds and feeds and other information stored within the cutting conditions. It is recommended to leave this check box selected.
Select - Allows you to select the default cutting conditions file to be used with this machine.
NC File Path
Select - Allows you to select the default save location for the generated NC programs.
NC File Extension - Sets the default file extension when saving the NC program for this machine.
Parameters
Machine Type - You can select the machine type
Rotary Clearance - Clearance plane when performing rotary movements
Maximum # of Tools - Specifies the maximum tool number that can be used with that machine
Tool Change Position - The position the tool moves to for a tool change (this box is dependent on post processor settings and may never be used)
Subprograms allowed - Selects whether or not this machine allows subprograms to be used
Use subprograms - Sets the default setting to use or not use subprograms
Comments allowed - Sets whether or not comments are allowed in the NC program.
Output comments - Sets whether or not to output user comments edited in the software
4Axis - NONE - Select this option if your machine does not have a 4th axis (4th axis operations are not output from the system)
4Axis - Index Only - Select this option if only indexes can occur on the 4th axis machine
4Axis - Index And Simultaneous - Allows output of 4th axis indexing and simultaneous movements (If you are unsure which option to use, select this to avoid locking any functionality from the software)
GCode 4Axis Arcs OK - Sets whether or not the machine accepts arcs with 4th axis movements (typically this check box is cleared)
