CNC programming software developer, BobCAD-CAM, Inc., is scheduled to host a new CAD-CAM training seminar in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania from December 2-4, 2015. The seminar will bring together manufacturing professionals, including CNC programmers and CAD designers, for three days of in-depth CAD-CAM training.
The BobCAD-CAM seminar series provides a unique opportunity for CAD designers and CAM programmers in the Harrisburg area to learn from an instructor with over 40-years of real-world CNC machine programming experience. Having used BobCAD-CAM software since Version 1, Sorin Nenu offers in-depth CAD-CAM software knowledge on new and previous versions.
CAD-CAM Training – What To Expect
Attendees can expect to learn about features and tools they can use to increase productivity and efficiency in their CNC machining operations. The instructor will provide detailed feature walkthroughs, examples, and host daily Q&A sessions.
The seminar is scheduled to provide a complete software overview of the new BobCAD-CAM Mill and CAD modules. Students will cover software shortcuts, CAD 2D & 3D drawing, file imports, a CAM tree overview, and information on 2-5 axis toolpaths, simulations, generating g code, and more. For two of the three days, optional evening courses will be offered to provide training on the BobART and Lathe CAD-CAM software modules. The BobART class will cover a wide variety of artistic CAD functionality, including raster to vector conversions, scaling, embossing, and more. The Lathe class will teach attendees how to draw a lathe part, setting up roughing and finishing cycles, canned cycles, drilling operations, lathe post processors, and much more.
BobCAD-CAM training events are for users at all experience levels. The classes offer an accelerated method for learning CAD-CAM software. It’s also one of the easiest ways to attain the BobCAD-CAM software professional operator certification.
