Why BobART for Art?
The Version 25 BobART add-on software module provides you with the ability to turn your artistic imagination into a manufacturing reality! This is an excellent product for trades such as sign making, custom wood working, jewelry making, CNC routing, water jet and more! By opening a jpeg, Bitmap or other picture type image you are just a few steps away from engraving, carving or embossing for creating toolpath and g-code for your CNC machine.
The BobART Add-on provides you with powerful new features for making your embossed sculptures even better. This includes a new 2-rail sweep feature and new smoothing utilities so that you can fine tune the way your relief models look for machining. With a new library of wood and metal textures, you can really create the right look for your art. New file import support includes .ai, .eps and .pdf extensions.
Art Software System Requirements
You must have a copy of BobCAD-CAM Mill Standard or Pro in order to use BobART.

*BobCAD-CAM’s stability is dependant on the graphics card ability to process information, integrated memory graphics cards may work but are not recommended.
ATI® or NVIDIA® graphics cards with dedicated memory are recommended. The graphics card’s software driver must be updated to the current software drivers released by the graphics card manufacturer.
**BobCAD-CAM is not supported on Apple Macintosh® -based machines. Some customers have shown success in running BobCAD-CAM in a Virtual Windows environment on Mac computers using Boot Camp. While the end user may choose to run Windows on a MAC®, this is not supported by BobCAD-CAM Inc.
