The Hole Pattern function creates a circular hole pattern or hole grid pattern based on the settings that you define in the Data Entry tab.
Hole Pattern supports the use of the snap increment when using the Pick method to set the origin location. The snap increment allows you to get precise results when using mouse selection and helps to reduce data entry modifications.

Circular - creates a circular hole pattern using the following options.
Start - sets the starting angle, from the X-axis, for the hole pattern.
End - sets the end angle, from the X-axis, for the hole pattern.
Dia - sets the diameter of the entire hole pattern.
Grid - creates a hole pattern that is placed using a grid with the following settings.
Width - sets the width of the grid, along the X-axis, for the hole pattern.
Height - sets the height grid, along the Y-axis, for the hole pattern
Hole Diameter - sets the diameter of each hole created in the hole pattern.
Break
On - the pattern is created as a single entity.
Off - the pattern is created as multiple entities.
Number of Holes
X - for the Circular pattern, sets the number of holes. For the Grid pattern, this sets the number of holes along the X-axis.
Y - for the Grid pattern only, sets the number of holes along the Y-axis (or the number of rows).
