Mirror (Utilities)
Introduction
The Mirror function creates an inverted version of selected geometry.
This can be any type of geometry. When using the Line method, you must
have a line entity to select as the mirror axis.
The Data Entry Parameters
- X-Y Plane, Y-Z
Plane, or Z-X Plane - select
the plane across which the geometry is mirrored.
- Sketch/Enter - enables
the Start and End options, which can be used in any combination (Pick
or Enter) to define the mirror axis.
- Line - means that you select
a line to define the mirror axis after the geometry selection.
Select the check box to enable the CAD preview, which displays the result
that will be created when you click OK. When geometry selection is required
for a function, the preview is shown after you select the geometry (and
confirm the selection).
Clear the check box to turn off the CAD preview.
- Re/Select - clears any
current selections for you to start the function over.
- Copy - creates the geometry
as a copy, instead of only moving the selection.
Start/End
- Pick - enables selection
mode for you to select a point to define the start or end point
of the mirror axis.
- Enter - type values
in the X-, Y-,
and Z-boxes to define
the start or end point of the mirror axis.
- OK - either accepts
any changes made (to show the preview), or performs the function
as shown in the preview.
- Cancel - cancels the
function when finished.
