The Stretch function is used to modify geometry chains by selecting one or more entities and then moving them, thus stretching the connected entities.
Stretch supports the use of the snap increment when using the Drag method. The snap increment allows you to get precise results when using mouse selection and helps to reduce data entry modifications.

There are two ways in which you can select geometry to stretch. Select one of the following options:
Single Entity - is used to select one entity. This entity and any connected entities are moved.
Multiple Entities - is used to select more than one entity. These entities and any connected entities are moved.
Re/Select - clears any current geometry selections and enables selection mode for you to pick new geometry.
In the End group, type the Delta values in the X-, Y-, and Z-boxes. These values define an incremental move from the current location.
Pick - enables selection mode for you to select geometry to define the start location.
Enter - enables the X-, Y-, and Z-boxes for you to type values to define the start location.
Pick - enables selection mode for you to select geometry to define the end location.
Enter - enables the X-, Y-, and Z-boxes for you to type values to define the end location.
Note that the snap increment applies when using the drag method to place the entities.
When using the Drag method, you can limit the Stretching Direction using one of the following options:
