The Search Sodick Cutting Conditions Dialog Box
Introduction
The Search Sodick Cutting Conditions dialog box is provided as an informational reference to the cutting conditions stored in the Sodick database. You can use this dialog box as a reference to create proper cutting conditions for the job.
Navigation
To open the Search Sodick Cutting Conditions dialog box:
- In the CAM Tree, right-click
Wire EDM Job,
and click Search Cutting Conditions.
The Search Sodick Cutting Conditions dialog box displays.
The Dialog Box Parameters
The items listed in the dialog box contain a hierarchy that determines what options display in the remaining lists. First select the Machine Fluid before moving on to select the Workpiece Material. You can then select the Material Thickness to populate the Wire Specification, Nozzle Position, and Condition Number. The information displayed can be used to help you properly set up the cutting conditions for the job. (This does not set any values for the job. The cutting conditions for the job are defined within each feature.)
