Roller Cam

Introduction

This topic will explain the Roller CAM function, will explain where to find the function, and explain the options found in it. This topic will also give a brief description of the Snap Increment function, and provide links to related topics.

The Roller CAM Function

The Roller Cam function creates a roller cam based on the parameters that you define it the Data Entry Manager. You first define the Roller, Base, and Shaft Radius, as well as the Origin in the Data Entry Manager. When you click OK, the CAMS Creation-From Displacement Diagram dialog is displayed for you to further define the cam parameters.

Snap Increment

This function support the use of the snap increment when selecting the location of the entities. The snap increment allows you to get precise results when using mouse selection and helps to reduce data entry modifications.
