Wire EDM Overview
Introduction
The Wire EDM module for BobCAM give you the tools needed to define a feature of the intended final product and select the operations needed to complete that feature. Job settings, machine and post processor selection, wire, stock, stock material, and Wire EDM features are all handled in the Wire EDM module.
Wire Steps

In the
CAM Defaults, and click New Job -
Set the Job Type to Wire EDM, select the machine, select the Default Parameter Template, and click

Define the Workpiece if needed and click

Choose the Stock Type, Size, and Orientation, and click

Set machine setup location, and work offset in the Machine Setup page and click OK.

Adjust current settings, posts, tools, and stock material in The Wire EDM Job tree.

Right-click on the Machine Setup to choose the Features to machine.

Use The Mill Wizard to choose the Operations and set their parameters as needed to complete the features.
