Creating Cylindrical Stock
Introduction
In this example, you learn how to set the stock type, size, orientation, and then add an offset to the stock geometry for the Cylindrical stock type. The part for this example is shown first.
Creating the Stock
Part 1) Select the Stock type

In order to create cylindrical stock, under Stock Type, select
Cylindrical and click the Calculate Stock button in the Geometry Options group.
Part 2) Set the Stock Size and Orientation

To change the stock extrusion direction, in the Stock Orientation group, click the Extrusion Direction arrow and select X Axis.
Click Calculate Stock once more to have the stock set by Geometry from Graphics Area.
Note: All offsets can be created in the Offset group.

The Stock Definition is now complete, click Next to go to the Machine Setup dialog box.
