BobCAD-CAM System Requirements

These CAD CAM system requirements apply to BobCAD-CAM, BobCAM for SOLIDWORKS, BobCAM for Rhino, and Machinist ToolBox. Meeting or exceeding the specs below ensures stable performance, smooth 3D graphics, and reliable toolpath calculation across all supported CNC programming workflows.

BobCAM for SOLIDWORKS System Requirements

NOTE:These are MINIMUM System Requirements. If you experience problems running on minimum system requirements, please contact Technical Support. Version 9.x of Machinist ToolBox™ uses a new license key algorithm. Users of Machinist ToolBox™ v7.0.7 or below will require an updated license code. Please contact Technical Support for your updated license code.

Note

BobCAD-CAM’s stability is dependent on the graphics card ability to process information, integrated memory graphics cards may work but are not recommended.

Note

4K displays are not currently supported and may require reducing your screen resolution.

Note

BobCAD-CAM is not supported on Apple Macintosh® -based machines. Some customers have shown success in running BobCAD-CAM in a Virtual Windows environment on Mac computers using Boot Camp. While the end user may choose to run Windows on a MAC®, this is not supported by BobCAD-CAM Inc.
