DragCorner.png Drag Corner

Introduction

The Drag Corner function is used to stretch multiple intersecting wireframe entities or the end of a single entity. To use Drag Corner with Intersecting entities, they must be broken at the intersection.

Dynamic Drawing

Drag Corner supports Dynamic Drawing which allows you to use a combination of sketching and data entry to drag corners. After clicking a corner to drag and clicking to place it, the corner becomes the active entity. The active entity can then be modified using data entry. The benefit of Dynamic Drawing is that you can quickly use sketching to drag a corner to get the approximate result and then use data entry to update the corner to exact coordinate values as needed.

Snap Increment

Drag Corner supports the use of the snap increment when dragging a corner to a new location. The snap increment allows you to get precise results when using mouse selection and helps to reduce data entry modifications.

The parameters display in the DataEntryTabIcon.png Data Entry tab of the Data-CAM Tree Manager.

The Data Entry Parameters

To use the following parameters, first click an entity, click to place it, then update the XYZ values in reference to the active UCS. The change is reflected in the CAD preview. The snap increment applies when clicking to place the corner.
