Functionality of Probing

The new probing features offered in our CAM Software includes 41 different probing cycles. By touching off your tools, setting your work offsets, and performing in-process measurements, programming for your probing cycles has never been easier.

There are many in-process measurements cycles including:

Single surface in X, Y, or Z
Web to measure the width/length of a part
Pocket to measure the width/length of a pocket
Bore to measure the diameter of holes
Boss to measure circular parts
Internal/External corners
5-Point rectangle internal/external to measure length and width
Angled surfaces
