💡 Before You Download - Important Information
Required Information:
- BobCAD Version: Which version are you using?
- Machine Type: Mill, Lathe, Router, Laser, etc.
- Controller Make: Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, etc.
- Controller Model: Specific model number

*Your Customer ID can be found on your software invoice or in the software by going to File → Help → Show License Status
📥 How to Download and Install
Step 1: Use the Wizard Above
- Select your BobCAD Version from the first dropdown
- Select your Machine Type (Mill-Router, Lathe, etc.)
- Select your Controller Make (Fanuc, Haas, etc.)
- Select the specific Post Processor for your controller model
- Review the G-code preview (if available)
- Click "Download Post Processor" button
Step 2: Run the Installer
The downloaded .exe file is a self-installing post processor:
- Double-click the downloaded .exe file
- The post will automatically install to your BobCAD posts folder
- No manual file copying needed!
Step 3: Link to Your Machine
- Open BobCAD-CAM
- Go to Job Setup → Machine
- Click Post Processor button
- Browse to find the newly installed post
- Select it and click Open

- Controller Type: Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, etc.
- Controller Model: Example: Fanuc 0i-MD, Haas NGC
- Axis Configuration: 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis
After Download:
- ✅ Always test the post with simple programs first
- ✅ Verify the G-code output before running on machine
- ✅ Check feedrates, spindle speeds, and tool changes
- ✅ Run in simulation or dry run mode first
