The Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan is a cost-effective and comprehensive program, which allows subscribers to receive phone and email support, software upgrades, updates and software enhancements at no additional cost during the protection period.
Subscribing to an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan allows your organization to keep up with the latest development of the software and take advantage of the latest and improved features in the BobCAD-CAM software.
2. How can I purchase an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan?
If you wish to subscribe to the plan, simply call BobCAD-CAM at 877-262-2231 or 727-442-3554 to request and purchase the plan of your choice. The plan will go into force from the purchase date for a full 12 months thereafter of subscription.
3. How long does the Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan last?
The plan is available for a full 12 months as of your purchase date and may be renewed yearly.
4. How can I check the expiration date of my Advantage plan?
Check the purchase date on your invoice and add 12 months to find the exact date or call 877-262-2231 and ask our support team.

6. Can an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan be purchased whenever I need?
Yes, an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan can be purchased at any time. Simply call BobCAD-CAM at 877-262-2231 or 727-442-3554 to request and purchase the plan of your choice. The plan will go into force from the purchase date forward for a full 12 months.
7. My Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan has expired, can I renew it?
Yes, the renewal of an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan can be purchased at any time. By keeping your subscription current you can avoid any reinstatement fees.
8. Do I need to activate my Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan?
No, you do not need to activate the Advantage Plan. After you have subscribed to our Advantage Plan, you can reference your Customer ID or phone number when contacting our support specialist with a technical question.
9. What is the difference between an Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plan and an Upgrade License?
An Advantage Plan is a new service launched in January 2014. An Advantage Plan is a subscription and support service, whereas an upgrade license is a “one off” purchase to your original software license. An Advantage Plan is purchased on a 12 month basis and once obtained, you will be protected for all upgrades and any update releases, as well as enjoying other support options based on your choice of Advantage Plan Standard or Premium options. An Upgrade License is for customers who do not subscribe to our Advantage Plans yet want to upgrade their license to the latest release.
10. What is the refund policy?
The Advantage Service Subscription & Support Plans are non-refundable except if within BobCAD-CAM’s sole and exclusive determination, all of the following apply: (a) you or your company are a first time purchaser of the Advantage Service Subscription & Support plan with BobCAD-CAM or its authorized representative; (b) you have not used your Advantage Service Subscription & Support plan; and (c) you are eligible for a refund based on BobCAD-CAM’s Software Refund Policy identified above. If BobCAD-CAM elects to issue a refund for the Advantage plan, the amount of the refund will be the purchase price less 20% service fee.
