Refund Policy – Service & Software Policies



An individual or company that purchases a BobCAD-CAM product or service (the “Purchaser”) may be eligible for a refund of purchased services and/or software according to the terms of this policy (the “Refund Policy”). The Refund Policy will not supersede or in any way limit BobCAD-CAM’s limited warranty or disclaimer of warranty contained in BobCAD-CAM’s End User License Agreement. If the BobCAD-CAM software fails to perform any of the advertised features identified on BobCAD-CAM’s website located at (“Official Website”) at the time of purchase, Purchaser may be eligible for a refund provided the refund request is received by BobCAD-CAM within 30 days from the date of your purchase. Purchaser will be ineligible for a refund based on changes, modifications and updates to the functions of the BobCAD-CAM software advertised on the Official Website after the date of Purchaser’s purchase. Such changes, modifications, and updates are not covered under the Refund Policy. If the BobCAD-CAM software does not generate ISO G-Code accepted by Purchaser’s machine control, Purchaser may submit a refund request pursuant to the Service and Software Refund Guidelines. Third-party software sold by BobCAD-CAM is excluded from this Refund Policy. Such software is nonrefundable, is provided as-is, and all sales are final. This exclusion includes, but is not limited to, ModuleWorks, Solidworks™, Mach3©, Machinist Tool Box™ and any other third-party products offered by BobCAD-CAM. Only original Purchasers are eligible for a refund.


For software refunds, Purchaser must cooperate with a BobCAD-CAM technical support representative’s inquiry into Purchaser’s eligibility for a refund. Purchaser can contact technical support by calling (727) 489-0003. In order to qualify for a refund, the technician must be able to conclusively determine that the BobCAD-CAM software purchased will NOT generate standard ISO G-Codes for Purchaser’s CNC machine control. Alternatively, the technician must be able to conclusively determine that the BobCAD-CAM software purchased does not provide an advertised function provided on the Official Website at the time of purchase. Refusal to cooperate with the technician will result in the automatic denial of Purchaser’s request for a refund. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure their machine control accepts standard ISO G-Code. (Returns will not be accepted on the basis of post processor issues if the CNC Machine control does not accept Standard ISO G-Code) If a Purchaser purchases the BobCAD-CAM software BEFORE the purchase of a machine, the Purchaser may not return the BobCAD-CAM software due to machine or controller issues. The technician will have the sole authority to determine whether the above requirements are met.


Training Seminars: There is a non-refundable deposit collected on all Training Seminars. The deposit is 50% of the price paid for the seminar. BobCAD-CAM may issue a refund or credit for the remaining balance of the Training Seminar purchase within its sole discretion on a pro-rated basis computed according to Purchaser’s date of cancellation prior to the scheduled seminar as follows and are in addition to any the other charges and fees:

  • Purchaser notified a BobCAD-CAM representative by phone or email during regular business hours more than 21 days prior the start of the seminar – Deposit only and no additional fee.
  • Purchaser notified a BobCAD-CAM representative by phone or email during regular business hours 21 – 14 days prior to the start of the seminar – Deposit plus an additional fee of 25% of the remaining purchase price.
  • Purchaser notified a BobCAD-CAM representative by phone or email during regular business hours 13 – 7 days prior to the start of the seminar – Deposit plus an additional fee of 50% of the remaining purchase price.
  • Cancellations of 6 days or less prior to the start of the Seminar will not be accepted. If Purchaser cancels or reschedules 6 days or less prior to the start of the Seminar, Purchaser’s training will be transferred to our Online Training option at a value equal to the purchase price paid for the Seminar, minus a 20% transfer fee. No special offers or discounts can be applied.
  • All Training Seminars are non-refundable once the scheduled training session begins. If Purchaser does not attend or leaves during a seminar, no refunds or credits will be provided.

Online Training: Online Training is a non-refundable and must be used within 12 months.

In-House and On-Site Training: In-House and On-Site Training is non-refundable and cannot be re-scheduled unless arrangements have been accepted by BobCAD-CAM in writing.

Training Professor: BobCAD-CAM and BobCAM for Solidworks Training Professor Digital, CD and/or DVD Training Series are non-refundable.


Annual Support Package: The Annual Support Packages are non-refundable except if within BobCAD-CAM’s sole and exclusive determination, on a case-by-case basis. Purchaser may be eligible if all of the following apply: (a) Purchaser is a first time purchaser of the Annual Support Package with BobCAD-CAM or its authorized representative; (b) Purchaser has not used its Annual Support Package; and (c) Purchaser is eligible for a refund based on BobCAD-CAM’s Software Refund Policy identified above. If BobCAD-CAM elects to issue a refund for the Annual Support Package, the amount of the refund will be the purchase price less a 20% service fee.


Advantage Plans are non-refundable.


Purchases through an Authorized BobCAD-CAM Reseller: If Purchaser purchased the BobCAD-CAM software through an authorized software reseller, Purchaser MUST go through that reseller for a return. The same guidelines in this policy would apply in addition to any return policies that the reseller may have.


BobCAD-CAM Software is non-transferable. Purchases through an unauthorized means are not supported, are excluded from the Refund Policy, and BobCAD-CAM is not responsible for any loss incurred.

BobCAD-CAM does not offer 100% satisfaction guarantee on any software or service sold. BobCAD-CAM offers a free demo on our website for all products sold. This allows prospective and existing customers the opportunity to test the software risk free before the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure the BobCAD-CAM software fits their specific machining needs before the software is purchased.


If approval for a return is authorized, Purchaser will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number in writing with full instructions on how to properly return the BobCAD-CAM software. When returning the software, the RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping package. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the Purchaser, and it is recommended to send the package signature required in order to confirm delivery. Upon receiving the RMA # from the Customer Service Department, Purchaser will have (30) thirty days to send the software back to BobCAD-CAM Inc. If the software is not received within the (30) thirty days, BobCAD-CAM Inc. has the right to rescind the approved refund. If the package is received and there is no RMA number on the outside of the box, the Shipping and Receiving Department will refuse the package. If the software has been registered, Purchaser must call BobCAD-CAM toll free, at 877-262-2231, and deauthorize all seats of the BobCAD-CAM software being returned. If the software has been uninstalled, it must be re-installed to complete the deauthorization process before returning it to BobCAD-CAM.


Shipping and Handling fees apply to ALL products being delivered to the Purchaser. Once a product has been shipped, the original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded. This charge will be listed in writing on the credit invoice.


All returns, exchanges or refunds are subject to a 20% restocking and/or service fee that will be deducted from the purchase price. This charge will be applied to all purchases being refunded including any services, training and software purchased. This charge will be listed in writing on the credit invoice.
