BobCAD-CAM collects usage statistics from the users to help understand what features of the software are being utilized the most and aid in deciding what improvements to focus on for future releases.
All data is collected anonymously, meaning that we cannot tie any data back to any specific user. A client ID number is assigned randomly when the software is run, solely so that we know whether a single user is utilizing a function multiple times, or multiple users are utilizing a function one time.
The data that we collect may pertain to user settings, what features, and functions of the software are being used, as well as hardware and operating system information.
- We do not collect any information that could allow us to re-create your part files in any way
- We will not sell or distribute this information to anyone outside the organization
Inside the software, go to Settings and on the General dialog you will find a checkbox named Help improve BobCAD-CAM by sending usage statistics. Clear this checkbox if you wish to disable sharing your usage information or select it if you wish to help improve BobCAD products.
