Maybe you didn’t consider swarf milling as an option for 5 Axis profile cuts, but you should. This well-developed toolpath makes easy work of 5 Axis machining when using drive surfaces. For jobs with only wireframe geometry, your next option would be to use 5 Axis wire frame, another common toolpath used in 5-Axis profile machining where swarf uses the surface geometry to drive tilt and control cutting, where as 5 Axis wireframe uses tilt lines to define tool orientation around corners and along curves.
