Introduction
This topic explains the options found in the Options page of the Probing dialog.

Optional Parameters
- Angle Tolerance - This applies to both X and Y surfaces. It is equal to half the total tolerance, e.g. ±0.25 degrees = B.25 tolerance.
- Experience Value - The measured size can be adjusted by an amount stored in a spare tool offset. Component clamping forces in some applications can influence the measured size. Therefore, an adjustment value to relate measurement to a traceable standard, such as a co-ordinate measuring machine, is desirable. Thermal effects can also be compensated for using this method.
- Feedback % - allows you to reduce the amount that is updated to any offsets based on probe reading.
- Feature Tolerance - sets the allowable tolerance from the nominal measurement values.
- True Position Tolerance - sets a cylindrical tolerance range from the center point of the feature.
- Probe Overtravel Distance - defines the additional allowable distance of travel beyond the expected point of contact.
- Tool Offset - defines the tool offset to be updated based on the measured values.
- Upper Tolerance Limit - sets an limit to the tolerance which, if is found to be violated, will prevent the tool from being updated.
- Null Band - sets the allowable tolerance range.
- Print Output - outputs the gathered data to the specified location.
